Order of operations for interior

As many of you know this is my first restoration and I'm in charge of putting back my interior. The dash and steering column and shifter and brake assembly and throttle are all installed.

Basically the car runs and brakes, the wiring is complete.

So my question is should I go in the following order:

1. Lay down sound and heat barrier in entire interior
2.  Install headliner
3.  Install glass
4. Lay carpet
5. Hang interior panels
6. Install trim
7. Install console
8. Install seat belts
9. I stall seats

Sounds good?  Any recommendations?

Here's a random question.   I have an aftermarket stereo and I was going to hook it up the way I found it but based on the work the person did before me I trust them for nothing.

So basically one wire from the stereo was hooked to the accessory post and one wire was hooked to the battery post on the bulkhead.

Does anyone see a potential problem for this as the stereo seemed to work fine and I have a grounded very nicely?

Interior looks sweet. Don't forget the package tray panel, kick panels. I don't see a problem with your stereo wiring , unless your using a big amp. ?  Awesome work .

Thanks for the information and encouragement. The interior is hopefully going to turn out really good because I spent a lot of time on it.

No amp, very simple set up.

I was just thinking I should put in the Dynamat and package tray and then put the speakers in before I do the rear glass as it's going to be a lot easier. Does that sound like a good idea?

I'm just trying to avoid doing something and then having to pull it out because I forgot I was supposed to do something before that. I think the package tray could be one of the first items to go in as everything else goes on top of it if I remember correctly?

@nsmall  I would put speakers in, package tray, etc first. Glass last after all is done and working.        More    please, this is going to be a beauty.

I also install the glass & trim last after everything else is sorted out
There in no issue with using the terminals at the bottom of the fuse block But there is also the rd & yellow tri plugs under ther dash that will also allow constant & Switched power which I prefer to use as it is a cleaner install & leaves the other fuse block terminals open for other temporary add ins

Hey do either of you know if it makes sense to do the headliner, then install the sail panels?

I didn't know if the rear vinyl panels have to go in before you hang the sail panels?

So basically at this point I'm going to do the headliner and package tray first.  Then I'll wait for you guys to chime in about the sail panel and interior panels.
