Welcome @the owl

Nice, how far along are you in your build? I have some duplicate parts so don't hesitate to reach out if your looking.

@the owl My project is pretty slow right now.  It's a protouring type build with a new 6.1 Hemi, etc. so a little different than a restoration. I have most of the metal and fab work done but have a long ways to go. Likewise with parts—- I don't have a lot of duplicate items but since it's not a restoration there are a lot of parts that won't be used eventually.

Thanks, Wes

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, the car is definitely staying this color. It will stay pretty original, I don't plan to keep the car forever so it's a bit of a budget build....well budget is a relative term.

I finally got out to see Tom's place last weekend and his '71.  It was all I could do to not buy the car from him and take it home, the GA4 grey is gorgeous. And its a numbers matching 383! This car is going to be amazing when its done!

Haha I know I just got it.... but everything is always for sale just got to make me an offer!!! just the world I live in.

I'm hoping to have the brakes/suspension all wrapped up just after the 1st of the year. I'm just waiting on new hydraulics for my press so I can finish up the rear end.

I also just got a new wiring harness in the mail last night, so hopefully I can get that done soon after I'm back from the holidays. Once the wiring is done I think the project will move quick.

Congrats on the purchase.  Now the fun starts.  I am in Colo. also and working on a 70 cuda.  I am in that shopping mode also.  I also need a front grill as mine is not going to be a very good restore.  If you find a good line on a new front grille let me know.

for a '70 Cuda your best bet is a new repro that is already painted and ready to go. they are near flawless and not worth hunting an original. unless you really want original, in which case you buy the new one and I'll swap you my original that needs the paint restored (I'm in Westminster)  :bigthumb:
Growing older is mandatory...growing up is optional.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
