The eBay auction that Cody posted was from 2015, not at all current.

I seen how old it was when he shared the link. I actually have it as a saved search on the bay and I should see every 4369 listed. But somehow, that one did not make it to me. I have seen several with later dates, none for my application though. I really appreciate any help in finding one. I know Scott is ready to do his magic on it with his new shop and all.

I have the same carb on my road runner and my research showed Holley on HP 383s and Carter on non-HP. I have I think 3 of them to build one good one but will check date codes.

That would be great. I can actually get by with just the main body. That way you will not be short parts for your rebuild.

How do I decode the build date on these carbs?

Cuda Cody

There's a 4 digit number.  The first three numbers are the day and the last number is the year.  For example, 3539 would be the 353rd day of 1969.  Making it an 1970 model year carb.  :slapme5:

The one Cody found from ebay that sold over a year ago has a date of 1799, which is perfect for my application. I have to think carbs are like any of the other parts, they are made in batches so to keep costs down. Thanks for the date coding the above carb Cody!! :ohyeah:

I don't recall off the top of my head. I regretfully sold my charger 500 earlier in 2016 so I could push my challenger convertible project ahead. It was tough selling one for the other, but once the metal work is done I am sure I will start to feel better about it. I will keep my eye out should I run across a 4369 for you.

:welcome: And thank you.   :thankyou:  This site keeps getting better every day, plus a lot of us are learning new things.
