I own this car.  Its a really long story I dont want to tell, but the person who owes me $$$ has yet to pay me back so I can now sell this car.

This car is a real mess, there are tons of parts in the car and in my garage.  I guess the best part of this car is it has the matching number engine 383 4 barrel that was rebuilt about 10 years ago and never fired up.

I can post more pics this weekend.

Is it worth $8500 or am nuts? Of course I would rather get more money, but I'm not so sure as this is a real basket case.  The color is sand pebble beige... I live in Southern California where prices are always high in my opinion.

It has fog lights, hood pins, AC, rally gauges.  Its a real Cuda.

There is no transmission.  Looks like it was media blasted then abandoned.

Fender tag.  No build sheet.

I have the dash and rally gauges.

If it has a clear title....I would say $8500 any day of the week... :alan2cents:

Looks scary, but if you have alot of the parts and #motor and tag then someone will buy it.  Transmission not hard to find or really a big deal.  Start there and see what happens, you can always lower your price later.  :alan2cents:

More than what I would want to pay, but with prices the way they have been I'm sure you can get close to your asking price.

I agree with Allan.  If it's a rust free Calif car, with rebuilt matching nos. engine, rally dash, BS23 'Cuda, with the interior seats, I'd say you're low at $8500.  I'd start at closer to $10K and see what kind of offers you get.  IMHO a rust free car that doesn't need body panels replaced adds significant value to the car, regardless of how the paint looks now.  Somebody who is interested will repaint it anyway, so it's current condition is no big deal as long as it's rust free.

Don't look rust free to me, I se holes everywhere...
But I would for sure pay 8500 for it.

Look awesome restored back to beige

I have a clear title.  There is lots of rust, most of it seems like surface rust, I could be wrong.

I'm thinking I should take some pics and keep posting them.  Thanks

Being that it's a real 'cuda, I agree that $8500 might be a tad too low to start as the asking price.  I would also start at 10K as the asking price.

I see some rust and holes but nothing that can't be fixed.
Contrary to the opinions of some, I am not dumber than I look.

Real Cuda's are not easy to find.  But the rust is a lot and that can be expensive to fix.  I think the $8,500 is fair.  You might get more if you run it on eBay and someone falls in love it.   Either way, someone will buy it and hopefully it will get put back on the street for all to enjoy.

I'm probably nuts but I'd invest a little time & money in that before selling.... Take it apart, media blast it, epoxy prime & reassemble... 727's are easy to find..... Make it resemble a car & it could easily bring the value into the 12-15K range....

But it can go either way with media blasting. You may find things you wish you didn't.
