I'm going to buy 17'' Rocket Booster wheels for my 73 Challenger . fronts will be 17 x 7 4.25 backspace  The rear will be 17 x 8 with 4.5 backspace . My question is what size tires should I run on front and rear ? IF anyone has pics of there's post them .

Thanks

I'd use the 17x8's on the front as well.
255 front, 275 rear...imo

I'd say go bigger. 17s look a bit small

The Rocket Booster wheels if I recall, don't have much stepping to the rim so 17's will actually look bigger than other 17's with a step.  Nice clean wheel.  What color spokes?

Really comes down to personal preference. I only went to 17's because you can only get crappy tires now in 15". I prefer the taller sidewall look on a classic musclecar to the thin sidewall more common on modern cars.

Depends on what aspect ratio, I`m thinking 17`s with 50 series on back and 45-50 on front as 40 series look to small/too thin a sidewall IMO.

In my opinion, target the tallest tires you can fit. These are 17 front (255/45/17) and 18 rear (295/45/18), they are 27.5" and 28.5" tall respectively. You'll find most people use 25-26" tall tires on their cars which could arguably work better in a pure performance aspect, but I feel it leaves these old cars with too much wheel well gap.
