 :wrenching:
Project following closely to an original T/A by using a lot of T/A parts and research.
Yes I know they were not built but thought they should have....

I love it too. Is the antenna different on a T/A? I know it is mounted on the rr quarter but what other differences are there?
Keep yer foot in it

Kenny, I wholeheartedly agree Dodge should have continued with the Challenger T/A. Pontiac built the Firebird T/A for ~14+ years, with changes each year. Certainly there would have been some variations each year if Dodge had continued with the T/A from 1970 to 1974 such as: graphics, engine, hood, grill, wheels, exhaust, etc. What are your thoughts on this? I ask because I am following a similar path with my Challenger.

I picked up a antenna at a swap meet many years ago. It's not a telescopic, has a 90 degree end under fender.
It requires a strengthening plate between mount and underside of fender..... which I don't have the plate yet

:wrenching: plan is to have painted bumpers, rear louver, updated a/c system. Not deviating from the original style as yet.

Two months ago at Goodguys, Pleasanton, Ca, the owner of a real T/A allowed me to take pictures of his car. Here is a picture of the rear mounted antenna. I did not ask him if the antenna is period correct.

Dales Cuda Shop sells them... And it is different from a regular Challenger Antenna....

:wrenching:This is like the one I have with the 90 degree end.
However there is a plate that goes between the body and the normal area that the antenna assembly touches the body. Apparently it is to help distribute the force applied when tightened.
