That 1970 Cuda hood latch will not work with the 1971 grill set-up  :alan2cents:

Ha good catch, too many cars and too many parts . That would of been an "oof" when I went to put the grill on

Alan, can you source a hood latch release? I have the latch, the release lever could use some love thou. I'd like to see about buying a nice one.

I don't have a line on any right now, but if I were you, I would start looking now because they're not always easy to come across.  :alan2cents:

 I vaguely recall a thread a  few years ago, where a release was converted to a 71'.

Modified the handle I think.  :thinking:

It's prob possible as they aren't far off. I have the original one and I email the guy Alan recommended.
