Put my new HF Engine Hoist together. Got the engine on the hoist so I can remove the wood shipping braces. Think I will have to change the Pan and Pickup first. Also plan to mod the Passenger Biscuit Mount. If I move the mount to the rear on the QA1 K-Member and cut down the mount itself to shorten it towards the rear, I'll have more room for the dipstick and Oil Filter Adapter and not have to cut down the rubber biscuit.
It got dark and I'm outdoors so more pictures tomorrow.

Will be putting the 8-3/4 together tomorrow. Can be seen in the background.

Weird that the dipstick is on the pass side , there should be a port on the drivers side where it will fit .
Not sure why you want to move the right side mount we didn't when installing the 6.4  :notsure:

Did you use a remote filter and block off plate?

E-Body Mounts are different from A-Body mounts too.

Rear end with the Calipers and Rotors.
I went with the Jeep Grand Cherokee Disc Brakes for the incorporated Drum E-Brakes and the common replacement parts.
Same as Ferd Exploder...
Should work well on our 3000 lb. Barracuda if they worked on 4130 lb. Gran Cherokees.

Everything is looking great! Educate me as to why you need to move the mount on the QA1 K-member as I haven't see anyone having to do that? A-body K? Schumacher or TTI 3G Hemi conversion mounts? Is it just for the dipstick?

Thanks, Wes

Hi Wes,
TTI A-Body Biscuit Style Mounts.
No need to relocate it if I wanted to install a block-off plate and remote oil filter as shown here.

I do not want to run a remote filter, preferring to use a 45* filter adapter.

Relocating the mount rearward will provide maximum clearance.

I'll remove the original mount on the QA1 K-Member completely down to the perpendicular main tube that runs front to back, leaving plenty of room for the 45* Adapter, Filter and Dipstick Tube.

Now I understand! I was under the wrong assumption the QA1 K cleared up all the room for these things. Thanks for the clarification!

True on the E body mount , no but the block off plate is the best solution

Mocked up QA1 Motor Mount Relocation.
Now to find someone to weld up a steel one and mod the TTi Mount to match.

Will match the TTi mount by relocating the biscuit mount surface the same distance towards the rear. Then remove the original QA1 mount completely. Could cut the QA mount and move it but I want to keep it there to match angles and be able to measure exactly how much to move the mount on the TTi mount to maintain the relative position of the engine mounting surface.

I'm liking how this is looking.

Cut, Welded and Painted yesterday.
Ordered a Milodon Pan and Pickup, new Ram dipstick tube and dipstick for driver's side of block since the stock tube goes away along with the stock pan.
