With members @SYDWAZ permission I get to lift the skirt on this 48 year old virgin.....This 43K original mile AAR has never been apart, never been winter driven and very seldom even seen rain.
This car will be going through a complete ground up restoration and I plan on posting a few pictures here along the way as things come apart.

If there's any certain pictures or measurements you want, be sure to put in your requests as I go along.

Official Start date November 26th 2018.... :woohoo:

Some curious things...who knew the factory used so much goop to hold the glass in....the clips were buried in the stuff.....

...and I was challenged by the owner to find rust....and as I thought....it didn't take long...this car is a rust bucket !

...and check this out....Did the factory run out of black "A" pillar trim and just decide to paint a white one in it's place ? I found this on the driver's side only.

Was it something the owner swapped out over the years ? One owner so maybe he'll chime in ....

And both sides used two different screws from the top to the bottom...A shoulder screw on the top, and a regular screw on the bottom...

4 hour days? Is that cause your old & can't put in a full day?  Or are days that short up North?    Maybe if you'd work a little more you could come out to events like MCACN... :Stirring:

Seriously though, good progress...

It has to do with the CDN to USD exchange rate:  4 Hour CDN converts to 8 Hour USD day. :haha:
