I don't have the same tank, but maybe something here is common for you. Assuming your Tanks tank, is like mine, here is what I have.

The lines I have are 6AN nylon braided and run to the fittings shown. The fittings get the lines headed parallel to the shock crossmember as quickly as I can. I can try to take "as installed" pictures, but it's dark and crowded down there.

Ah that's interesting bring them parallel to the crossmember.. Lemme see if I can accomplish that.

If you have any pics of those lines near the cross member that'd be great!

Disregard the dirt. As you can see it has plenty of clearance for both lines.

That said, I believe I held the tank forward as I tightened the straps. I may have put a block in there. From what I remember, as I tightened it, the straps wanted to pull the tank aft and pinch that opening I am running through.

Sorry, by "forward" I meant toward the back of the car. I held it back because the straps wanted to pull the tank into the shock crossmember.

It's been a long Monday and from the point of view of that picture, it makes sense. Ha

gotcha.. LoL I am sure I would have sorted that out as I started tightening the straps again. Hope to be posting some pics of this as I get it in to the car. The fuel line was a fun challenge, the brakes / brake lines were fun. Itching to get the drivetrain in the car and hear it run. I have only heard the motor on the dyno. Sadly if I had started today I'd be running a modern Hemi like you and others around here. 500HP 416 stroker should be fun enough though.

Got the fuel tank in and fully plumbed. Brake lines all done. Suspension is all done. Clutch slave installed. Steering column and steering wheel installed. IDidIt column is very nice except for the GM ignition key :(

Time to start the wiring harness. Once that is done the motor and trans will go in. Then the interior. Hopefully by summer this car will be driveable and it will be all about buttoning things up.

Took her outside and washed the dust off. Need to get a cover for this car.

Slowly but surely. If it was a computer system / network it would have been done long ago. A mechanic I am not. I wish I had more skills.

There were a few years in the late 80s where Dodge used a GM column so I know there is a lock available for the GM column that uses the dodge key if you want to switch it out

Good price too & you can have the door locks matched to the new key so you only have 1 key
