I met Randy / 1WildRT today (for the second time), he came out to let us look at his fuel line routing on his challenger, then the guy rolled up his sleaves and helped me redo my brakes so the lines would line up right. What a guy!!!!

Thank you Randy!!!! Bring a bigger appetite next time man!

That is Dr Diff 13" PBR kit. What wheels you are planning? The Year One Rallye 17" will barely clear. Also the pads that came with the kit seems to shed a lot of brake dust under regular driving.

Randy is a rare breed these days.

Good people for sure.   :wrenching:

The TTI headers barely clear the QuickTime bellhousing and torsion Bar on the passenger side. But we didn't have to sent any tubes.

Here some pics of the wheels / tires on the car from before.

Gonna have to modify the oil pan. No clearance with the QA1 crossmemver.

Is that with the trans & crossmember in place?

We used the under hoist stand to lift the tail of the engine up and approximate the position. the transmission / driveshaft will be in place before any final decisions are made. I might be putting my old Milodon deep pan back in, it narrower and should clear nicely.

Interesting, the guys in Hot Rod magazine put a 416 stroker with the milodon road race oil pan in a challenger that has the QA1.. they said it was tight but it's in.. I dunno, looking at how TIGHT mine is I believe it will rub the crossmember and that thin metal will wear through.. Hmmm

Hopefully it will move back a little when we put the rest of the drivetrain in.

I would let the guys at QA1 know about the issue, that pan is fairly popular especially with guys who like to go round corners quickly..... Could help someone in the future & perhaps they would make a revision & send you the first one to test...

Chryco Psycho

I would use that pan just do what you have to so that it will work , It will torque away not into the crossmember

ledphoot

oil pan dropped off at fabrication shop in Ripon today... Gonna chop it, weld it, pressure test it (not sure how he's gonna do that part) and paint it.. woot

Chryco Psycho

For sure the best way to handle the situation .
