You and me both :)

I am so jealous of all the body and paint work I see people doing on this site. I tried painting my bicycle a couple years ago, it came out OK, but I ended up not happy with it and had it powder coated instead. It looks MUCH better now :)

I wouldn't dare take a sanding block and paint sprayer to my Cuda. It'd come out like @ss.

:iagree:  Give me wires, nuts and bolts any day.   But body work and painting..... run Forrest run!

I'm scared to death to paint the outside of it since what you all have seen so far is my first dive into any type of bodywork and paint, but I've came this far so sense of giving it up now... Just tons of reading and studying.

Oh yeah! No clue why I even kept her springtime groomer appointment since by that afternoon she was getting quite white hahaha!

Well Saturday I came down with a fever that lasted a few days and such, so have been off this week pending the dreaded COVID results (negative) strep throat instead (still sucks) but anyway decided since I was feeling better to spray the underside of the trunk as well as some misc. pieces like the fender louvers and mirrors.

I'm most curious on how the mirrors will turn out since they were originally chrome. Very pitted so there was no saving them without spending the money to rechrome them. Instead I hit them with 80 grit, epoxy primed, high build primer, then paint.

Soooo did a thing today. Battled some bugs here and there but nothing too bad, rained last night and this morning so it helped keep dust down and bugs away.

Hurried and got it into the garage before another storm kicked up.

Some dust nibs as well that I'll have to color sand out with some 1500 but I'm pretty pleased with this being my my first try painting a car as well as using SS.
