Would anyone happen to know if a 71-74 sport mirror fit in a '70 door? I'm looking on Yearone currently and it has 71 and up mirrors showing 3.25 inches but on a measurement I found on the forum it is showing 3 inches.

'71 and up are 3-1/8" between centers for the nut-serts. Just checked a '71 mirror and two doors (a '71 and a '72) in house.
'70's as noted are different.

Welp, looks like I'll be putting '70 mirrors on my '73 since I sourced out a door for it, no worries on my end as the '70 mirrors are a ton cheaper! Thanks for checking on that for me .

'70 doors use different outer window felts. '70s clip on and '71-74 screw on.

Correct, I'm just going to oblong the holes on the other door with the dremel so they both will take clips.
