The price changes would worry me as well. Might be an okay car for a 71 Cuda foamer I suppose.

A foamer! Hahaha I like the term even if I'm probably part of that group.

I was pretty straight up with the guy. Told him before I even went down there that the timing just wasn't good for me with two full on projects and limited space but hard to not check into a car this close and this scarce. If it had options I really liked or the condition wasn't so bad, I might have tried to work something out. I could see it going for 11k since b5 blue with white accents and interior really appeal to a lot of Mopar guys. It is a big block Cuda after all and he seems a decent guy.

I have seen that car on and off on ebay for awhile now.You can always make a 71 cuda clone from 72-74 cuda. Thats what im doing because I know I couldnt afford a real 71 cuda.

With as much rot as you mentioned it sounds like the car is worth less than 5K.
Also sounds like the amount of metal would exceed 7K.   I have a car that needs 7K worth of metal and it appears better than this car.  I didn't realize how much rot this thing has.

Did you happen to take any other pictures that show actual problems?

This makes the bh 71 for 350 0 in  florida look a lot better.

And that numbers tactics really sucks

Sounds like he's looking for a sucker if he turned down the 11K he was offered and wanted. That car will probably be there a long time. Id give him your number and tell him you have cash and when you're serious about selling it let me know. I had the same situation when a friend of mine was going to buy an AAR. Deal was made arrangements were made with a trailer to pick it up and the next phone call the guys all pissed and want a lot more for the car then it's worth! Lot of wackos out there!

I'm still watching the eBay ad on this. The seller changed his starting bid to $11550 and it now has its first and only bid.
