I hope you realize how special and really neat this is.  What you are doing is so cool.  Thanks for letting us come along on the trip.  More photos please!   :please:

No prob. Glad to share. This is a blast but it's grueling. Just spectating last year I didn't give it much thought. But the long days, humping equipment, driving a car like that, then the maintenance etc.

@Brads70      been a savior.

This morning we found GV leaking (long to short - over tightened under cover ... GV owner got us a replacement) Had to check that. Changed oil.  Found alt not charging after the run.  Swapped out to third one.  Third one too low amp output.

Hers pic 4th swap out. Lol.

We prob just take belt off tomorrow. 4th one ran fine on road.

Hi all, having a blast. Drag racing is different from circle track racing I've learned. Mark had to tell me to relax a few times and that its not a pit stop lol. Getting good at swapping out alternators.  Seems the old girl is not fond of chevy parts haha. Sure loving Wisconsin.  What a beautiful state. Never been here before. Here are a few pictures I managed to take.

Certainly looks like fun!  Enjoy guys!    :cheers:
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

Great stories and great photos Mark and Brad! Sounds like we need to buy some stock in the alternator rebuilding business, eh? And Mark, I knew you made a great choice for a co-driver and I see it's paying off! Roll on lads and good luck with it all. It'll be tough going back to poor old Barrie after this, eh Brad? LOL  :twothumbsup:
In the immortal words of Jimmy Scott- "pace yourself!"

Thanks all!  Ya. Poor @Brads70   Lol.   Even last year as a spectator I didn't appreciate the work, stress and exhaustion of this.  He's been a trooper and really critical to keeping us going.

Some pics. Fog in morning.

I've got a good video of the run today from inside.  I'll get those on YT when we get home.

For sure !  Find us!  Racing starts at noon. Street eliminator runs first. So our class probably won't run til 2p or later.

We prob find a "pit" on the grass across from all stored trailers   I'm going to try to get near taller trees in the middle of the rear graSs area. I'd imagine about where they draw line between pits and spectator parking.

 Not best camera video.  But got the launch. 2-step set at 3k.  I've got computer and going to see if we can up that !  Trap mph is too high for that ET. Need much better 60 ft.

Some pictures .... I really loved the silver Auzzie Charger. The technology in this car blows me away. Over 500 cid preditor heads. Twin turbos...etc..... owner was nice said it cost him 40 thousand to ship the car from Australia.  He builds engines there and has 3 more Chargers restored.

Brads70

There were a few crazy Aussies there. Their car builds are a little over the top lol
