Nice jackets and T's.

Will the T shirts have optional colors on material or the Font?

Those are really cool. Being quite new here--roughly how many credits will be needed for a shirt or jacket.

Yes Spikedog is right, the goal is to give back as much as we can to our members.  I'm not going to say they never will be for sale, but we have set the Prize Shop up so it only accepts Credits earned from making posts or replies.  The goal being everyone gets a shirt, hat, jacket or something for being part of the site and helping each other out.  Helping out doesn't always have to be a tech question or numbers thing.  It can be just saying something nice to encourage or help out a fellow member.  Each of us contributes in a different way, but as a whole there's pretty much nothing we can't do when it comes to Cuda's and Challenger's.   :grouphug:

Everyone that is a member here automatically gets points when they post, you don't need to sign up for anything.  The way it works is you get 10 credit points for a post or reply (you'll need to post a bit more than a smiley to make the algorithm work).  You can see how much credit you have under your avatar or in your profile.  There is a daily limit of 30 points so be sure to check in with the forum each day and make or couple posts or replies.  Post a comment with a photo of what you're working on or tell someone you think they're doing a good job =  :bigmoney:

I want to give these shirts away to all of you more then you will ever know.  The first run is 48 total (24 Cuda / 24 Challenger) in sizes M to 2XL.  We'll have the final cost soon and I'll get the credit points calculated.  But it's looking like this first run will be at a discounted rate around 750 credit points (A little over 3 weeks of activity).  The credit price can change with each run depending on our sponsorship.  The bigger our site gets = the more more sponsorship = the cheaper Prizes in the Prize Shop.

For the next run we can make small changes if someone wants a different colored shirt (as long as the ink color does not change) or special sizes (S to 5XL) and Ladies versions (that does not mean they get a silhouette of a Camaro).  :P

If we ever decide to sell them, all the profits would go right to lowering the Credit Price for our members.  This forum is all about giving back to the members.   :slapme5:

I do not think these are going to be for sale  . . . .  only site credits!  This site is not about making money . . . just giving back to the members!

Definitely like the jackets . . . Probably hold out for one of those!
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

Yeah, the jackets look great.   I don't have much use for one in Florida though.
Oh well, I'll spend the extra days of nice weather driving around in cool cars.

Great t-shirts especially because I have a '71 Cuda

Very nice T-shirts! Can't wait to get one, or two. How would you deal with international shipping? Extra credits added?

Cuda Cody

Very valid question.  We have not talked about that yet, but we should come up with a plan so all our members around the world can benefit from their usage on this site too.

The sponsorship money covers a large portion of the shirts.  But what would be a fair way to handle the shipping?

Shipping FROM the USA seems to be more costly than shipping TO the USA.
Especially if tracking is required.

USPS tracking only works while the item is still inside the USA, it doesn't go all the way to the destination.
A few countries will continue to scan and use a USPS tracking number within their own postal system.  This scanning doesn't transfer over to the USPS, but the item could still be tracked using the destination countries postal website (which probably won't be in English).  Most countries don't continue to scan and use a USPS tracking number, but a few do.

International shipping companies such as UPS, FedEx, or DHL tracking works all the way to the destination, but is costly.

Most items in the prize shop probably won't be worth having the added expense of tracking.

Unfortunately, in some countries, interesting or valuable items are more likely to get "lost" by a corrupt postal worker if the item doesn't have a good tracking number.
Italy and Russia come to mind.  Puerto Rico & Hawaii also.
In some places, boxes are considerably more likely to get "lost" than envelopes.   This is because envelopes fit in a mail slot, while boxes are left outside by the door.

There will likely be a customs form involved for international shipments, and recipients may be charged fees based on the value of their items.

Each member probably has a reasonable idea of what is the best way for them to receive items.
You may not find an easy one size fits all solution.

303 Mopar

I like those shirts and glad you picked that design!  The jackets are over the top cool and really like those!  Maybe we can incorporate both a Mopar and Dodge or Plymouth logo depending on the order.
