Thanks all!  :bigthumb:
I bought it through a consignment, but I hope to get in touch with the previous owner.
Whoever did the work was a bit Mopar savvy. The car has a factory 340(?) rear sway bar. Frame mount, with the links attached to the spring perches (I did the same thing, back when I put a Dana under my old Cuda).
Car also came with a dyno sheet from 2018. On a Mustang dyno 358rwhp, 443tq.

So a factory rear sway bar will work with a Dana 60?

Yes, it will. You just need the upper spring perches from a 340 (or S41) car, and the rest of the components. The correct perches have a tab for the sway link attachment.
It's interesting that the links ended up splayed out on this car, I don't remember that being the case on my old Cuda (but that's not surprising....I put that car together in '82  :notsure:). If I put the Dr Diff spring relocation kit on, the links will end up almost straight, up and down. Pretty cool.  8)

What is unique to the 340 spring perches (not sure what a S41 is) for this swap bar swap?

rikkitik

S41 is the option code for a rear sway bar. Spring perches for cars equipped with rear sway bars have an "ear" with a hole in it similar to the attached pic. Standard spring perches do not. The "ear" is where the sway bar linkage attaches.

Beautiful car, congrats,

The Dana looks to have started as an early B body rear with that bottom drain plug, is it a E or B body width?
The angle of the shocks looks to be E body width.

rikkitik

Thanks 👍
It's appears to be an E width. A receipt for it, that came with the car, is from DTS (Drive Train Specialists) Iona Michigan. "DTS Custom Dana 60, 35 spline axles, 3.73 w/Trac-Loc, Black Satin Powdercoat, 11" Disc brake kit". It also mentions all new Timkens & seals though.
So, potentially a recycled housing? Not sure.

Its nice to buy a car that you hardly could change a thing to make it better.  Congrats!

 Thanks all!
I got a call from the previous owner, (I had mailed him a "thank you" note with my contact info), super nice guy. Confirmed a few things, he had some good stories about the build. We talked for a least an hour.
I thought (for those that asked earlier) that the paint was the
current color Chrysler/Mopar "Octane Red", he found the actual color code, it's BASF "PRH" and is actually Mopar (2004 - 2011) "Inferno Red".
He confirmed that it has an 18 spline trans (that was a story in itself😅), Centerforce clutch, then he said "oh, I need to tell you......the wiper motor doesn't work".......I told him "in that case, I want my money back"....like this car is ever going to see rain 🙄
We both laughed 😅😅
