Definitely not photoshopped; they didn't have photoshop back in 1970.. For sure, they put in too much helium to make weight, and some one over filled the tires.  It has to be true.  This is the interwebs, right??!!

I never though of that. Did they build the superbird for the entire model year? Or was it like the AAR-TA limited time span.

The kinda got away with it , the Daytona used 70 front fenders but was sold as a 69 so it got away with 500 units even tho they only got to about 480 built
The Superbird had to have 2000 built very few were ordered as they were too radical & considered ugly so Mopar pumped 2000 out mostly with few options & low cost , many sat on dealers lots for years or were converted back to regular Road Runners , built mosty at one time as fast as Creative industries could convert them
