What did you do with your ebody/Mopar today?

"Get yourself a 12" piece of 3/4" EMT for doing the roller bearings"  EMT? some kind of tubing? and how does it work with the roller bearings?  :huh:

I assume to use it as a shim to keep the rollers where they belong during shaft assembly.

there are 4 rows of needle brgs inside the countershaft , you have to have a tube to hold them all in place [IIRC 72 needle brgs] in place while you install the countershaft into the case
EMT is electrical conduit , you can use metal or plastic but it has to be slightly smaller than the countershaft center pin & shorter as well .
It holds the brgs in place while installing the countershaft then the steel pin slides into the counter shaft through the case while pushing the conduit out the other end .

Got a new job, have to move/buy a new house by May, so I need to get the Challenger drivable again...
I have the whole interior ripped out, need to fix some surface rust on the floor pans, finish the rebuild of the steering column for the power steering conversion I'm doing (the shaft is collapsed and I have to figure out what's the safest way to repair). Also plan to repaint all dash metal (thinking about powder coating), finish my Dakota digital gauge wiring, rebuild all the steeering wear components, buy firm feel power steering conversion, buy new long tube headers and replace the exhaust, rebend fuel lines (planning for 1/2" supply and return), and wire my tanks inc tank and fuel pump.

...I think I'll be trailering it to my new home because this is too much to try to get done during ski season (I think I have too many hobbies).   :dunno:

Took advantage of awsome weather here in SoCal. We (believe it or not) have had rain most days for weeks.
Need in parts for another no name project. I took it out for a lengthy drive into the valley.

Got back from Mexico last Wednesday after 3 months and I'm hoping to get a nice day where I can roll the Challenger out and fire it up. and also work on a few small issues like my signal light on the pass. side keeps blowing the fuse. :dunno:

Trying to figure out the best way to trailer my car to my new home... it has no steering or brakes ( except for the parking brake, which works). Any tips on getting it up on a trailer without a winch? Should I buy a winch? I could get it moving on it's on power, but don't trust doing that with only a parking brake... lol!

I use a hand winch. You could also use a different car and a rope to drag it up as well. I use a couple of 6X6 or 8X8 blocks and keep moving them up behind the wheels as I go as well.

No steering can be a problem, what's the story there?

I bought my Dart with no brakes and just had AAA come get it. Driver raised an eye brow and loaded it up. Hadn't driven since 2003.
