Musclecar club show yesterday, backed up to another Tor-Red Barracuda, a '66.

Drove my 70 Cuda in the 4th of July parade. I was right behind a fire engine red Late model Challenger. Guess which car got all the compliments from the spectators!

Heater core blew  out.
Pulled  the box out today.

Looks like I'll need the blower motor re built.

Finally got the push rod out of the block for my fuel pump,better than 3/8's of an inch missing from the cam side.

You might have to swap out the cam....my Superbird eat fuel pump push rods like candy, until I replaced the cam....the damage to the cam kept damaging the rods

Checking things off my "getting ready for Carlisle" list. I added a shut off switch and rebuilt my shifter box to hopefully help with an issue getting into second gear sometimes. Next on the list is to figure out why my temp gage isn`t working.

Filled my tank with premium, cost $120.

Drove to the monthly cars and coffee cruisin.   Great chatting with others...   On the fuel subject...  prices are coming down here near Raleigh, NC...   regular has dipped below $4 a gallon.    Filled mine up with 89 octane plus added a bottle of octane booster...it works no pinging and saves $0.30 per gallon.

I was going to take the car out this morning to get gas and when I started it I had a belt squealing like a banshee. Alternator bearing was gone and pulley wouldn't turn. All fixed now.
