I was going to take the car out this morning to get gas and when I started it I had a belt squealing like a banshee. Alternator bearing was gone and pulley wouldn't turn. All fixed now.
Murray, you got a few cars (& a truck), ya gotta be more specific when you say "the car"  :D

Started to disassemble the interior of my wife's 65 Barracuda, have a new red interior from Legendary. Got new foam for the front seats, not the back, should I add some foam on top of this or is that a bad idea? Never did interior work before.

My challenger seats were a little lacking so I had some foam added. I love it!

Totally disregarding the "honey do" list, I took the Challenger over to Brantford and showed it to Kenny, the owner of Brant Performance, who's sold me parts for the car over the years. He said he couldn't believe it really existed! LOL Then a run out to see our noble red brothers for gas and then a trip home.

Today, ill be driving my 74 to a local cars and coffee in Clayton, NC.   About a 50 mile round trip, so there goes $20-$25 bucks worth of premium gas.

Dash harness. Working on tail light and headlight next. Already passed the smoke test and everything works, even key buzzer and time delay.

Took the Hellcat to a car meet yesterday, tons of very cool rods and bikes. Not a singe e-body though.

Took our just finished Challenger to the Hilo, Hawaii 4th of July Car Show!

@Aloha Randy Is that a real AC Cobra parked next to your beautiful Challenger?

Aloha Randy

@headejm , not a real per se Cobra. Its our Backdraft Cobra, made in South Africa. Complete car when you buy but you pick the engine / trans. This has a Ford Racing all aluminum 427 600hp with a 5spd. Tremic. Its a car you can drive and better in many ways from original except sale price. All BMW suspension. They did a good job and many think it could be a real deal Cobra. We were getting so wet at car event here in rainy Hilo that we bought the Challenger project.I started back in the day with Mopars and this is #8.

I was feeling like some wings so I took the 74. Stopped for gas and a guy offered to trade me for his '10  SRT8.

I did my very first oil change today.... :tool:  Not since I was a teenager have I changed the oil in a car....Our daily drivers always go back to the dealer, and typically I've never owner a classic long enough to worry about changing the oil... :haha: :haha: :haha:

However, with my new 392 Hemi now having 800kms on it, I thought I better follow some suggestions and change the oil and filter....of course I made a mess all over the floor and now have to figure out where to get rid of the old oil....but she's done and no leaks so far and I have oil pressure, so that has to be a good sign....LOL :fingerscrossed:

Hopefully be my last... :console:

:wrenching:
