I replaced the nylon gasket for the fuel inlet on the front bowl for my Quickfuel carb and it still leaks!  These are brand new gaskets that Quickfuel sent me.  I made sure I had the "beveled" side facing the carb as instructed.  I'm at a loss to get this to stop leaking.  Any suggestions?  :help:

Finally found time to finish up the new radiator installation. Works good , keeps it at 190 even in this heat

Went to a local show where I saw this pretty original 2nd owner '71 vert. It has had a repaint but was pretty nice, even had the thermoquad still on.

I took mine out today too. It's been since June that I drove it last. First few miles it shook a bit , flat spot the tires it's not happy sitting!    is real nice now goes up to 195 fan comes on drops to 185 and the fan shuts off.

First attempt to lower the engine on the K-frame failed tonight. Motor mount brackets on the K fame hitting the Milodon road race pan on both sides. Not by much so more grinding and painting ahead.

Got my new stage 3 box installed, just a short test drive, wow what a difference.  Now repair a small leak on the return hose,  maybe just a new clamp on it.

Installed my passenger side door vapor barrierl and door panel. Also, using my new rivet tool from Harbor Freight I installed the nut inserts in the door and then installed the new chrome passenger mirror.  The chrome mirror really looks good against the black paint.  Tomorrow, I attack the driver's side door.

What did you use for the vapor barrier? I need to do this after I get the glass aligned like I like.

Installed the new driveshaft I picked up from Cass and filled the diff with oil. Still haven't driven it this year! Too busy fishing and eating walleye.

First one is the hardest!
It went well, no broken drill bit... need to confirm where the lanyard attaches underhood?
