I replaced the nylon gasket for the fuel inlet on the front bowl for my Quickfuel carb and it still leaks!  These are brand new gaskets that Quickfuel sent me.  I made sure I had the "beveled" side facing the carb as instructed.  I'm at a loss to get this to stop leaking.  Any suggestions?  :help:
Try the metal Holley gasket ?
is there a possible hairline crack or porous casting ?

I am wrapping up the e-brake installation this evening [late]. After the recalled master cylinder, I decided that having some form of a mechanical brake on the car was something I wanted sooner rather than later..  :dunno:

With some luck, I'll get it back out on the road for the first time in two weeks. It's killing me.  :deadhorse:

I love hood pins.      :bradsthumb:

...and I did turn the pins 90 degrees to put them the right way... and put Rallyes back on, now with 15x8'' instead of 7''on the back to stretch the 275's a little bit! I had them custom-built with offset on the back so the trim rings sit same as on the 7's.

Very nice! Love the color too.
I did the same thing to my rears. Managed to squeeze 8-1/2 out of the 2 rims I cut up to make 1. Same also I am using factory trim ring with 275s.

My tires are already very close to the leaf springs, I can't imagine how you managed to get an extra 1/2''!

I put about 160 miles on today. Randomly happened to run into the father of the guy I bought a used floor carpet from last year. Lives in Cambridge, same town as Cudajason and Jimynick.

It is close but they don't rub. 4-3/4 bs. The front side does have an extra 1/4" gap to the trim ring but it is not noticeable.

Ha Ha... On the ears. Sounds painful.

This is the extent of my outing for the day. Pulled it out to work on the Mustang. First time both have been on the road together in more than a year.

Wrapped mine in leather, love the subtle difference.

Oh and to continue the thread. I looked at my Barracuda yesterday. That's about the most action she has had in 4 months.

Had mine out a few times. I sure enjoy grabbing a coffee and Tim Hortons then going for a drive. Sometimes it does a person good to make sure those pistons are getting to the top of the cylinders!  :burnout:
