I thought @Cuda Cody bought it when it made the rounds on eBay a couple years ago   8)

Come on @Cuda Cody, you already have 1/2 of the equation with that block.

Why not just go for it?

Makes me wonder, if we asked everyone here would we have all the parts needed? Methinks yes.

Yes, I owned that car for a few years.  The original owner that I bought it from (and is the guy who is now selling it) had bought it back from me.  It's a great project that is really solid.  I would be happy to tell anyone more details that is thinking of buying it.  The unstamped Hemi I have is the engine that I was going to put in it, but the original owner that bought it back did not want the engine that I had so I kept it.  Overall it's a super cool project.  I've kicked around the idea of buying it back again.

Unstamped date-coded block will be worth $$$ for that new Challenger owner.

Pretty stupid of the current owner to not buy that block from you when he bought the shell back.

That buildsheet genuine?

I "need" that car. I'm just several tens of thousands of dollars and one co-operative wife short.   :deadhorse:

Up tp $35,100 and 3 days left.

It won't get exciting until the reserve is met, but you could put a bid for 100k on it and the reserve will stay until other bidders drive the price up to what ever the reserve is.

GrandpaKevin

I heard the seller wants $75k for the car :notsure:

Someone on the "other" site called him and the reserve is $75k. From what I am seeing in this "booming" economy is that there are some things that are just lying under the surface and ready to explode. I look at all the hate and discontent in the country right now and have concerns about the future value of money. It may be harder to keep in the future. I'm not having much luck selling my project cars and other investments in Texas right now. I guess we'll see in 2020 how it all shakes out. But back to the car, it not a $75k car with all the stuff missing. If you have the parts already, that may help.

RUNCHARGER

McCandless' Hemi Challenger was a steal at $130k I think. It was show worthy and matching #'s I believe.

Now I want to know what Cody sold it to this guy for?
