A new 1969 addition to the garage J.C. Penney

I purchased this car about 2 years ago. Took it to my small engines guy and he has had it forever. He's dealing with health issues and my county is losing it's only small engines repair guy. Sucks. Wish some of these Millenials and gen Zers would pick up some kind of trades instead of letting all our valuable information go to waste.
Anyway, I had to replace the carburetor as he couldn't get the old one to function correctly. Still have it and will consider sending it out to a carb specialist.
It's a 1969 J.C. Penney catalogue go cart.
I remember being like 5 looking at bra's and butt's in the J.C. Penney catalogue and seeing this advertisement for an awesome looking go cart. I couldn't afford it by any means as I grew up a poor preachers kid in the backwoods of Louisiana. I dreamt of having that go cart. Fast forward almost 40 years and one fell in my lap. It makes a good addition to my cars and bikes.

That go-kart reminds me of the Speed Buggy dune buggy in the Saturday morning cartoon. It was much like Scooby Doo with mystery-solving teens and their adventures.

Cant believe i dont remember seeing that one in the JC Penny catalog when i was little. Never saw one with a body on it like that.
