even though sales of TP is going thru the roof, I have no idea why people would stock up on TP??
If a shut down on everything would happen, I would worry more about food and water then wiping my ass....

Grabbed this from another website..

As for the run on TP, there are some countries that have total dependence on paper imports from China. They are the ones where the 'run' got started. Our news media picked that up and ran with it while failing to mention that the U.S. still has a pretty good paper industry going on within it's own borders. The last time I checked, only about 10% of the paper used in this country to make TP comes from China so the run on it here is plainly fabricated

Living here in "Wild-Wonderful, WV" and so far............NO reported cases in the entire state, although I don't expect that to last.

I can understand slowing the spread down and leveling it out to not overwhelm hospitals.  Numbers I heard make some sense out of this.  Low end of projected cases is 200,000 in the US.  High end projection is 3 million.  There are 45,000 ICU beds and 160,000 ventilators in the US.  Helps understand why the leveling of spread is important.  But there is a way to accomplish this without instilling panic.

They manufacture TP about 50 miles away from me and our whole province is covered in trees. Yet these sheeple (almost all of which hold a voters card btw) are buying the stuff up like a heroin addict.

My son went to buy some ammo for his new shot gun he bought and he said ammo and guns are flying off the shelf here as well. He was looking at another rifle for hunting , they had over a dozen, went back the next day and they were all sold.  Same son works at a larger grocery store chain and said at Christmas the store he works at broke records just over 300K sales in one day. Last Thursday it was over 400K and with many bare shelves.  But other than that things are cool here!  :haha:

Weird...my son came home from work earlier today, he said people were buying ammo like crazy at Canadian Tire today....he did add that it was on sale though, and I'm sure hunting seasons are starting ?

It's always a good time to buy guns and ammo.

I purchased some 20 and 30 round clips for AR just a few days ago for 6 bucks each.  Super cheap!
Trump is a terrible gun salesman.  My friend who used to sale guns through cabelas and bass pro and sportsman warehouse has got out of the business because guns are too cheap and no money is there now.  We need a dem before that happens again.
But apparently a virus is making guns go up.  I"m surprised about that.  Have not seen that here in Colorado.

Oh yeah.  My wife said dinners ready and I was typing fast.  I miss stuff every now and again.  especially when hot food is waiting

Not getting political here......

I just hope they don't impose a curfew here.  I don't do well with that.  Especially since my current job is 2+ hours from home.  Kinda hard to get in a full days work when we are supposed to be sitting on our asses at home.

I've just had a few clients cancel my scheduled jobs due to them not knowing "what's going on".

On the bright side, I'll be looking into refinancing my home.  With those rates it's gonna be great!

If we have to stay home and not go to work I'm screwed.  Self employed.  They won't reimburse my paycheck (with debt and tax dollars)
