Filling in engine​ bay holes

We have sold several sets of these kits to people who are wanting to covert a A/C firewall to a standard firewall.  For those who are looking to slick up the firewall as well, they would work as well.

I am the owner of Restoration Parts and Materials, RPM out of Jasper, GA.  Many of you have probably been through our tent at Carlisle and The Nats.  We have been around for over 25 years now.  Anyways, a machine shop that makes parts for us makes them for me.  They are laser cut and are a exact fit with the correct gauge metal to aid in your installation.  I sell them at $35.00 per kit.  For anybody interested, drop me a message.

I understand some of the wiring clip holes I am filling.  Could you help me confirm I am not screwing myself by plugging holes 30, 31, 29, 27, 24, 25 according to the first page of this post (look for second set of pics).  I guess I really am curios about hole #30.  Thanks

#30 looks to me to be a factory hole.     I would not fill it in.

Hole #30 seems to be the one for a manual washer pump, if you have one of those keep it. If not....you decide. You can always put a rubber plug in it.
The wiring clips hole, I filled some, and left some, I just estimated how my new wiring is gonna be, since I'm using a new harness for the engine and some of the old harness for the rest, I might end up with a few holes too much and maybe I have to drill a few new ones. Time will tell. In your case, if you have a stock wiring harness, (that was made for that car) you could use the clip holes, not sure how your setup is gonna be.

The plug for #30 is uncommon, I don't throw those away if the car has them. Generally they've been butchered to run a wire through them for whatever reason though.

Yep, I left mine open, had a rubber plug there, with a wire thru it!

Good news is the same hole is in virtually every A body too... So wrecking yard Darts & Dusters make good donors...

Funny, I had no issue finding a plug for that hole at Moparfest a few years ago...not sure who I bought it from now.

My car has manual washers and I was able to get the right one. don't remember were I got it though!

Hmm: I bought a couple of plug kits the last few years and they weren't included and my collection of about 100 various plugs didn't yield results either. Thanks for the A-body tip R/T.

Thanks guys. Appreciate your input.  I'm not adding a washer pump so I'm thinking of plugging #30.  I am excited to plug some of these holes.
