Leaf Spring Identification - Expert Help Please

Hi All,

Found these Hemi leaf springs at Fall Fling this past weekend - Looking for the experts to give some opinions on if they look to be correct E-body Hemi springs? 

I had given up on finding a set and was planning on buying the Eaton springs new, but these look to be correct and are in great condition.  Sorry for the poor photos, but any feedback is appreciated

Does the bottom partial leaf on one side have: 3400024 and the other side have: 3400034?

I believe the area where they bolt together should have some numbers and a Pentastar logo.

Here's one of mine:
line 1: 712
line 2: 76 followed by the Pentastar logo
line 3: 2169 (3 digit day of the year and the last should be a single digit for the year).

@mtull yes, the half leafs have the correct numbers - I will look for the other details you mentioned.

I think the clamps holding the spring pack together and a few other details are specific to these that are different from what you can get from Eaton currently, so if they are accurate I am going to pick them up - price is reasonable from what I have seen and my understanding is they are very difficult to track down.

@mtull thanks I read through that - just hoping to verify (with my crappy photos) that the ones I found are correct

looks like the real deal    there is no other application for 3400024/3400034 other than e-bodies
the stampings are - 71276 is the VENDOR NUMBER & 2169 = Monday 8/4/69 ASSEMBLY DATE

@6bblgt thanks for the reply - I feel pretty good about finding a set, just always concerned I may pick up something that is not correct and overpay for the wrong parts- still learning.  I decided to pass on them at the show and do my homework first - luckily they didnt sell and I was able to make a deal after the fact - downside is I have to drive 2 hours now to get them!  They are in good shape too with no major pitting so I think I got pretty lucky

Picked up my springs today - interestingly enough they are stamped exactly the same as @6bblgt, 71276, 2169 assembly date.  Is that common for most of these, or are there different dates out there as well?

On another not, anyone have any experience restoring these?  I believe you can buy ne correct insulators, pins and clamps, any recommendations on a vendor for those?  Also, anyone have them re-arched, or just run them as is?

I would assume that you'd have to install them and see where the car sits to determine whether they should be re-arched or not, no?  If you have to re-arch them, I'll be interested to know how your experience goes.  I have the original and sagging "hemi" springs for my Cuda squirreled away for possible reuse some day.

There is a shop local to me I have used before with good success......... they re-arch the springs cold and have been around forever....

I've seen 2169 and 2799 assembly dates.  The first (2169), as previously stated, is dated: Monday August 4, 1969.  The latter (2799) is dated Monday October 6,1969.
I find it interesting the assembly dates were both on a Monday.

Here's a very rare picture of my car actually on the ground and not on jack stands. My leaf springs were not in the car when, I found these H.D 440 springs. I was able to measure the difference in the arches. I'm very happy the way the car sits. 295/50/R15 on the rear and 215/75/R15 on the front. Hopefully, you will not have to re-arch yours
