Great thread !! :bigthumb:...  That FE5 is tough to photograph especially in a shop with the flash...Mine looks the same way depending on how much backround lighting is used...
It's amazing how each brand of paint offering varies for the same color...PPG is a good choice for the FE5 color..The sikkens version is a darker/richer color that appears nice but not quite correct when sitting next to an original...But never say never keep in mind those factory assembly line barrels of paint made the cars shade change from the top compared to the bottom of the barrel so the original panel match-up is the only real way to get it right...
The old paint application books had different variations for a given color adding to the confusion...

I agree 1000% and red tends to fade over time, so how anybody can say they have a 100% match to an original 47 year old colour is beyond me ? :takealook:

I think it looks good....hopefully the owner will like it......He saw the FE5 Challenger I just finished and like it...this is the same colour. :alan2cents:

I really like those wheels with that color! Was the car originally built with those or did the owner want those added on?

The car came with the 14" version of those wheels, The owner upgraded to 15" x 7" and added the rubber bumpers, everything else is on the sheet.

For the record...I hate those wheels with any colour, would look way better with 15" rallies....heck, I'd even prefer 14" Magnums over the current selection.
