Do we have any members there?  Would be great to get an update from someone onsite with eyeballs on some of the E-Bodies.  Looks like some big dollar cars coming up this weekend.   :bigmoney:

That would be a fun adventure one day!  Never been. . . .
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

Didn't see it but just read $418K ( with fees ) for a 71 Hemi Cuda.

It's the usual mix of good and bad cars.  Anybody have any questions about any specific cars?  For whatever reason clones seem to be going for as much as real cars - don't understand why.

I'm shocked at what that yellow T/A brought, although every year there are some ridiculous prices paid there by guys with deep pockets and maybe far too many drinks consumed!
There was a FY1 70 hemi roadrunner that sold over 200K yesterday that seemed about 50% over market too.
Afaik the highest price paid for a T/A was the $185K that Tim Welborns B3 blue unrestored T/A sold for at Mecum Kissimmee a few years ago.  I've seen both that car and the yellow one, the former Wellborn car is one of the best T/As I've ever seen.  The yellow one, not so much.
It's base coat clear coat which IMHO looks bad on a solid color car, like it's FY1 or FE5, and what's worse they clear coated over the T/A stripes which made me cringe when I saw it at MCACN, and at Mecum here when it sold for $85K.  It had details wrong under hood too. The 85K it sold for previously seemed all the money but I guess someone in AZ felt differently!
Someone told me the car has a NOM engine also?  Whatever the case, I shouldn't be so negative as I guess that means my properly single stage painted FE5 Mr Norms T/A is worth far more than the 100K I have it insured for currently....  :looney:

So using my patented Barrett Jackson decoder ring....it doesn't say numbers on the Barrett sheet which means it isn't.
