Drivers side cleaned up like new!

Looks Nice!

A heated garage no doubt.

Must be Hell out there.

Was 4 degrees Sunday morning, breaking temp records for my area of NJ
I have two small separated garages attached to the house.
I sealed the garage door at the top and sides and keep a heated hallway door open for heat
I heat only one of the garages this way, seal off the other one and it maintains 60 degrees.
This works and is comfortable except in the extreme temps we have been getting.
I do have propane heaters but haven't needed them.

Winter sucks. Stay warm out there!    8)

Shot this video with my buddies drone.  Those things are way more difficult to fly than they look!

Pulled out the rear seat hoping to find a build sheet.  No build sheet but I did find this tag wired to the back.  I also was taking a look at the front grille.  I am not sure this will make a restore but I know some of you have gone down this road and know what has worked. As always thanks for the help.

I have used J-B plastic weld on grille/plastic items and it works well. Sandable to shape. Wet sands well. Holds together well.

Saw a post on other siteams using scrap shavings from another grill and acetone mixed in to make a paste for gluing.

 Finally got up to 30 yesterday, so started prepping for some interior work: removed bucket seats for recovering, new tracks, repaint backs and hinge covers. (Did not find any build sheets inside seats, but did find a mouse nest from many many years ago in driver's seat back!)

Have front seat area sound deadener to install, new headliner to install, new pkg tray and sail panels, long-sash seat belts, and new 1.1" Hotchkis torsion bars waiting in the wings, along with some engine bay decals to renew...

We go back into normal winter Friday, with highs in teens again...

Slow and steady, take opportunity when it knocks!   :ohyeah:

Awesome car and video. That is the best I have seen Dan, I really enjoyed it.

I'd love to do one like that of the TINFISH.

Cheers!

With weather all the way up to 41, managed to get the new 1.110" Hotchkis torsion bars in today! Had the 778/779 .90" bars...

You are going to love those!

Thanks, Frazz... Yeah, I've heard a lot of good things about them, and with the rebuild of the front end last spring, that made it way better, so figure this would top it it all off for handling... still have rear spring rebuild kit to install, and front bushings for them... getting there slowly but surely!

Loved the video and song choice Dan.  Im sure you put a smile on those workers faces when you did your burn out.

Swamp Donkey

I opened the hood, looked at the disconnected  battery and wondered if I should start the car. Then looked at my motor with no air cleaner!  lol
