Found an old picture from when I was able to drive this 'Cuda...

If both are real, that's a 1-of12 Hemicuda convertible next to a 1-of-8 69 Trans Am convertible!

Ben

...they're real.

Haha!

I think I figured out why the speedo is not working .
Replaced alternator and VR also, now battery is charging ! Alternator was the problem.

Cool on charging and wow that is an interesting twist on the speedo

Installed the new speedo cable bought from Roseville, after hunting for 15 min for it, and was s not too bad , crammed under the dash andseat, not sure how accurate, will check against the interstate mileage markers.
Not sure how it got that twsted was broke at the tranny. Had real good luck fixing things this weekend so kbock on wood.
Yeah thought it was the alternator, but learned a little more by doing some troubleshooting and info from members here, thank you.
Told myself I will not get mad aboutthe car this year while working in it , that does not fix it.!

You can download a GPS speedometer app and check it on your phone while driving.  If your "real" speed does not match your speedo it is probably the gear in the trans.

Thanks Dan, guess I was thinking old school how we used check it, will give the GPS app a try. HaveTorque app, but that needs Bluetooth and OBD connection.

Continuing to remove undercoating from rear wheel wells, as I strip, clean, rust proof and paint.  Driver's side was super clean. Found some rust with small patches needed on the passenger side.  :wrenching:

Thanks for the compliment!
Used a heat gun, dremel tool, cheap wire wheels from HF and regular scrapers w a lot of elbow grease. Not really too bad!

Shot this video with my buddies drone.  Those things are way more difficult to fly than they look!

Cool video. Thanks for posting.

We've been considering getting a drone for video work. What did you use?

His is a Dji Mavic Pro.  Very nice, does almost anything I could think of but the batteries only lasted about 20 min each.  The follow me mode seemed to use the batteries faster as well.
