Had to make a Home Depot run for hunny dues. Naturally the Challenger was best choice. Well... except for the shelving board that would not fit trunk. Did squeeze it in back seat area. Still best option!

Finally finished up my access hatch for the Tanks Inc fuel pump. I've had it for years but just never got around to installing it.

That is awesome, I need to do the same thing to my Challenger, sure beats dropping the tank to access the lines.

What I did with my E bodies; well I fired up the Challenger (first time in about 2 months), mainly to see how the last tune works with starting (EFI 6 pack); about 4 revolutions and it fired right up, went to a smooth idle  :D I am very happy with that. Now, I just have to figure out where all my PS fluid is leaking from...

On my Cuda, I am continuing making the back seat frame fit. I am almost there, still a little welding to do on the back frame. I have determined that I am going to have to trim my new panels (when I get them); moving those inner wheelhouses in really has a ripple effect...

My ride has the battery in the trunk. Was having hot start issues. This weekend had to put a new battery in. Simple right? Battery was showing 12.4 volts across the terminals. Took it to o'reilly's and it needed to be charged before they could check it. So left it for an hour and when I cam back they said no dead cells but battery was at 25% of it's life left.

Picked up a new battery at NAPA. Their batteries are made now by Deka. Neil said Topcat? recommends Deka as he works in the industry.
Talked to Neil a few times already on the phone and he's been a big help.

Well the new battery has the posts opposite sides. Positive cable would not reach.
So under the car to cut the tie wraps holding the split loom. It was attached to the frame rail connector. Pull wire from up under the front fender and work my way back to the trunk. Luckily it was looped in the engine bay so there was enough to pull. Then re-strapped the cable with stainless zip ties.
While I was under there I ran a black #2 cable under and alongside the positive cable in a separate loom up to the front frame rail connector. Not to thrilled with the negative battery cable grounded to the body inside the trunk.
Strapped that with SS ties. Ran out of black welding cable but will run it up to the engine compartment when I get more.
While under the car noticed oil splatter all over. Checked a few pan bolts and they were loose. So order a set of ramps because laying on my back with the car jacked up and blocks under the tires wasn't cutting it.

Car cranks over much faster then before. Ran it up to temp in the garage let it run for a while shut it down and it started right up again. Have yet to run it on the street do to constant downpours here all week and into today. Hopefully once I get a better ground and the new battery it will help with the hot start issue. We'll see.

Once the ramps come in I'll start on tightening the pan bolts and cleaning up the underside and checking all other bolts.

Anyway that's what I did to my ride this weekend.

Decided to check out my trusty e=bodies.org oil change sticker and quickly realized that I had not changed it yet.  :D

Beautiful night so I shared my car with the crowd at our local cruise night.

I'm the yellow chally. But my red twin was nice as well.
Someday I will have a J0b.

Well not today, but last week I took my daughter to her Prom on Cuda...at her request.

I went for a little spin afterwards and put a whole 10 miles on the car. :ohyeah:  Pretty good reason for the first drive of the year.

Looking forward to putting a bunch of miles on it this summer.

That's a cool paint job Jason. I like it! :bigthumb:

Thanks man!!

Had the car out out for a spin today!  Had to get some stuff at Lowes and pick up my kid at job training, so pulled it out. Think I have driven it more in the last 8 days than I did all last summer!!!

Got a little hot sitting in the drive through, but she worked good!

Good to hear.

How do you like your new exhaust system now?   ;)

@70chall440

Does your PS leak when its just sitting or after you run the car?  I know this may sound stupid, but if it leaks when you are running it is it possible you have too much fluid? Had this problem once is why I am mentioning it.
