Iowa Six Barrel

If the Rust does not scare you then I would totally go get this car. But having the wrong drivers door with no sticker having the wrong trunk lid having completely rotted out frame rails from the front to the back and rusted out rockers... new roof skin... The list goes on for me. Beautiful car at one time. But I felt the restoration on this car would exceed its value. I hope someone out there buys her and fixes her back up. There are no concerns with the numbers on the car. I did not see a build sheet.

It looks like it will take a lot of money, metal and time to get that one back on the road.  It will take a special person to save her.  I think you made the right call.

With a car that rusted, and for the low $20's asking price (?... the ad is no longer up)....the car for me would have to have numbers matching drivetrain, most, if not all, of the rare hard to find parts, and the original tags and broadcast sheet.

If it had all those things...I would buy it sight unseen and deal with whatever rust it has later when I find it. :alan2cents:

I do not have a concern over the numbers and fender tags. It's legit. The seller is the real deal when it comes to Mopars. The frame rot and overall disintegrating of the body is too much of a negative for me. And not worth the anticipated selling price. It was worth the trip but not worth bringing home in my opinion. Good luck to the next guy.

Would be a wicked car finished but man, rough starting point.
