Update..... the shop and I had a good conversation. We worked out 2 lists... 1 - what needs to be done to finish the car and 2 - what my wish list is to finish the car. My budget is so badly blown we'll see if it all gets done or if I just pick it up and finish it myself. But they have already dropped the engine in and are supposed to hook up the transmission today.  :woohoo: They said they will be sending pics along the way so I will post as they come in. They said they can have it completed by the deadline - "As long as there are no major hiccups......" My worry is header issues.  Some fabrication may be needed. That might slow it down and can be expensive. I believe everything else should bolt back in.   :fingerscrossed:

Things are moving along then. Good luck, it shouldn't be too long now.

I blew my budget on my one and only build by 30k, that is unfortunately not a typo my friend.  We have all been down a similar road.  I dont think about numbers when I am driving, its all smiles.

Yowser, 30k?  :o Perhaps it is relative if your budget was over 200k.

It's hard to budget them these days. My last two cars I spent $20k (albeit Canadian) on "little stuff". By little stuff I mean not paint or body, not engine, not trans and not seat upholstery or carpet and not labour.
Front end parts, brake parts, exhaust, tires, parts plating etc.

I think they are really trying to meet the deadline. Here is a pic I got last night. The engine is in and hooked up to the transmission. We are moving forward for sure. Starting to get excited.  :veryexcited: :cooldance: :ohyeah:

I had no idea of the costs.  At least Cuda Cody let me know beforehand yet I sent went buckwild on blowing the dough.

I am always excited to see good news for you mopar thunder!

A little more completed. We are on our way. Had to fab a few brackets though. Also came into an issue with my pick up dates and had to move it back 2 weeks.  :( Deadline is now end of Oct.

Working hard on it (sorry not a clear pic).  I was told that they might be ahead of schedule. Unfortunate thing is that they can't find a way for an air to air intercooler so I will keep her as is for now. I'll have to watch the Florida heat when I finally get it down here. Tick Tock the clock keeps moving.  :drinkingbud:
