I will be there, sporting my E-Bodies.org T shirt!

Ben

Hey, that's a great idea! I don't have one (yet), but I'll have to get one so we can more easily find each other. :bigthumb:
Cheers!
Tom

Tis' better to have owned classic Mopars and lost than to have never owned at all (apologies to Alfred Lord Tennyson)

VCODE

Where do we get the shirts. That's a good idea.

I talked to Bob this afternoon at Mecum.  He's got 21-22 N96 cars lined up so far, including several that haven't been seen at shows.  Like the Swiss 71 Hemi Challenger and a 71 V code.
One shaker car that won't be there sadly, is the V code '71 cuda convertible on the cover of the latest MCG.  He said Finer Details will not have that car completed by next month.

That's awesome...I love the Hemi Challenger....Did you ask why it was left off their web site ?

If he needs a fill-in...Bob has some nice Hawaii Shaker Cudas :alan2cents:

We will be there Saturday.  Going to meet a man about some tires and another about a set of gauges.  Hopefully will meet some other members.

I saw Bob again today at the Morris car show today (perfect weather!), and got some clarification on the N96 display.  He told me it's all E body!  21-22 shaker Challenger and cudas scheduled to be there so far.  :worship:

We have  more Mopars coming this year than any year previously.

Here's all the special sections this year.

Kars of Kar Kraft, 1967 Z-28 Invitational, E-Body N96 Shaker cars, Class of '67 and Class of '72, Mustang and Shelby Pinnacle, Studebaker Legends featuring the Supercharged Hawks, Fabulous Formula's (70-74) an Avanti timeline and of course our biggie is the 50th Anniversary F-Body Invitational featuring 24 of the absolute rarest and finest 67-69 Firebirds (12) and 67-69 Camaro's, (12). And that's not all!

Returning but with all new cars; Mopar Alley, Vintage Certification, Barn Finds & Hidden Gems and Corvette Triple Diamond to name a few.

In my section alone we have so many just discovered Mopars, and entire wall in the section is going to be taken up by them!  A few are Hemi cars with engines still in the bays.

We had our employee meeting a week ago, and things are looking great for next month's show!
Over 100 Mopars are lined up for the show.  And something many don't realize, is that the vast majority of cars on display at each years show, are first time appearing at the show. This isn't your typical car show by any means, where mostly the same guys show their same cars every year.
As a general rule, a car won't be at MCACN more than twice.
One real cool sounding car Ryan has lined up for the barn finds display, is an FM3 '70 Roadrunner convertible!  :wowzers:
The MCACN preview magazine just showed up in my mailbox, approximately 80 pages of pictures and articles about the show.  If you are the mailing list, you should get yours soon.  If you aren't, it's probably not too late to sign up on MCACNs website!
Less than a month to go before the show! In the meantime, if you scroll through the albums in my Flickr site, you'll find approximately a dozen albums of every year of MCACN 2009-2016.

Almost exactly 500 cars.  They cut the number down slightly from the 525-535 I believe was the number of cars at all the previous shows.  The aisles are going to be a bit bigger so the spectators have more space when walking through the hall, plus there are going to be a couple seating areas added because people have expressed concern that there aren't enough places to sit down and take a break at the show. A number of people always sit on the stairs at the entrance, which really shouldn't be done per fire codes. By cutting the car count a few, hopefully the seating situation can be improved to make spectators experience more enjoyable!
