Unless this V code convertible was a total rebody,  this was a STEAL at $70,000 + auction fees!!!!!! Nice ones usually sell for around $400,000.

But I agree, but it for $70K, invest $100K in a proper restoration and you're still ahead of the game :bigmoney:

Sounds like a poor quality restoration using another shell or parts of one. Even today, replacing an upper cowl with an AMD piece, you would always take the time to switch the number over from the old cowl. :alan2cents:
