It's a shame some of the great info will be lost,
I specifically would like to keep the 518 swap, it was up to 15+ pages

It won't be lost, it will forever live on the internet unless Ross pulls the plug totally and he can't make money if he does that.

It's pretty much useless with the new format, any way to bring over a thread from there to here, in its entirety?

Yes, I think it can be done.  But I would have to have Ross's permission and access to the database in the program to see if it can be done.  I'm fairly sure it can be done.

I was at C.C. .com since 2004... new format just plain fails... so I'm a newbie here now... lotsa familiar names!!!

I was a technical writing/software reliability manager for 4 years of my 38 years at place I retired from, and basic rule of thumb for software screens was "plan it for black and white, then add minor contrasting colors/backgrounds..."

Purple shades for new/old posts is hard to see, and gray on gray is impossible...

You'll find way more available information here if you browse the homepage, not to mention you're already on your way to earning free stuff, like hats, shirts, key chains etc....all you got to do is participate  :handshake:

Oh and I can even tag you to let you know someone has answered your question... like this @73_Cuda_4_Me

Wow, I just logged on to CC, the site is not something I would use right now, way worse than the original site. The main problem there was the pictures, not the layout. I hope Cody gets to merge the sites, there is lots of god info there.

1 Wild R/T

Cody, we need to merge with Moparts.... And I want points for all my years of posting there.....  Something like 27,000 posts..... Then I want a T/A added to the prize shop....

Ok maybe not.... To many guys there just want to stir trouble.... Keep them out...

anlauto

I'm not at all for "merging the sites" or "bringing over certain threads"  from CC.com

We're building a fresh, new,  far superior site with new and relevant information with up to date methods for viewing and sharing info...Fender tag decoders, Broadcast sheet decoders, Free swag....you name it, we go it... :worship:

We don't need to drag the past a long. :deadhorse:

For the members here that enjoy the old information found on CC.com.....by all means enjoy both sites, no one is saying you can't.... :drinkingbud: Heck...if you want to choose one over the other...do that too....it's a free internet world out there.... :woohoo:

Let's move FORWARD together........ :handshake:
