HEADLINER BOW COLOUR CHART


1971 Plymouth Barracuda

                    FRONT

red----------------------------orange

red----------------------------orange

red----------------------------dark blue

red----------------------------pink

red----------------------------gray


1970 Dodge Challenger

                    FRONT

red----------------------------orange

red----------------------------orange

red----------------------------purple

tan----------------------------pink

tan----------------------------light green

school me on what this means? Do the headliner bows have colored ends?  :notsure:

Great info!!!   :clapping:  Are all the red / orange bows the same for Cuda's and Challengers?  And when did they change to 4 bows?

here's the headliner out of my '70 R/T - 702-SPD  :pokeeye: and their COLORS

Neat!
I always left mine in the original headliner and then moved them to the same position on the new headliner when it was installation time.
Nice to know it can be sorted out if someone mixes them all up.

My -73 shell has nothing up there. Is there any other hardware needed than the bows and the headliner? I see a few screwed brackets, are those for the bows?

I do the same. I just had this chart from somewhere and thought it would be a good guide line :alan2cents:

In your yellow 73, the rods go in one of the "three tranglated holes" on each side.

The brackets have plastic covers that go over them for the seat belts.

Photos of the green bow cups and the 2 little wire hooks that hold the rear bows in place.

I have pics that look a lot like that.   When I first saw them, I thought "I don't remember posting those pics yet".   :)
