70 Go Mango Challenger

I cut a piece out of the old intake gasket to block the heat crossover , no need for the extra heat in the intake unless you are driving in the winter , helps with the fuel evaporating in the carb etc .
looks a lot better in Mopar blue instead of furd blue !!
I guess the wiper motor & horns are still being restored

Looks really clean now. Your attention to detail is phenomenal....I won't bust your chops on attention to correctness 'cause it's a modified car anyways....so no rules... :cheers: Looks Great :worship:

Just had not gotten that far...
No date code on the wiper motor but was a good price and no core charge. Tested it and it runs nice and parks when turned off. That's nice!
Going to blackout the top of the cowl vent area. PO painted the wiper arms flat black. Going to leave them for now. They hide away and I don't plan on driving in the rain anyway... at least not right away.



Cleaned up and painted the horns. They both work.



Cut the ugly beat up old battery terminals off and made up new ends and jumpers for the starter relay and grounds. Going to add a charge cable from alt to relay too. Ordered some wire for it just not here yet.
Amazon for these compression type terminals and Heat shrinks. I like the way these work and look.
Fraction of the cost of just a "Correct Repop" Positive cable alone. $25 instead of $130
 







Got it running today.  :banana:
Noticed the addon pulley for the AC doesn't look right when spinning. The pulley stacks on top of the ballancer pulley. Must be clocked wrong. Seemed like it only went on one way but maybe it is 180* off???  Bummed...  :headbang:

Not sure if I can take it off and rotate it without removing the fan, radiator, fluids... ugh.
Oh well it starts and runs, no leaks except the upper rad hose. I re-used the old hose and the corbin clamps didn't seal. Probably work fine on a new hose but the old hase had been compressed. Put the screw clamps back on for now and took care of the leak. Not the stock hose so no idea what the hose was from. Found one close to correct searching through all the hoses at the parts store but like the old ones fit a little better.

Scuff, Clean, Tape, Mask,  :cheers:  Spray, Clean up... Work on the grill tomorrow.

Have a new rear harness to run too. Old one had several brittle and or bare wires, multiple spliced and hacked wires and the wrap was disintigrating where it was still remaining. Plus all the black bed liner overspray on it.
Going to have the rear brakes done and Front End Alignment done on Thursday.

Finished Trunk Video
The color is the same throughtout but the lighting from my phone doesn't show it well.
All of the Metal Tabs for routing the harness were gone and I didn't have new ones welded in.
They were never a good idea IMO. I used the same rubber lined screw on straps that I used in the engine bay, the passenger side valve cover and to manage the wire harness and AC lines.

Should the fuel sender wire be routed in front (Shown) or behind the brace?

We were a little early for the Saturday Cruise In at the local McDonald's Saturday.
First day out for the Challenger after getting it back together.

I'm not gonna lie, I don't know if it's just the way it comes across on the photos or not, but your car is gonna get me divorced, because it makes me wanna go get a go mango challenger for myself and with two current builds going on right now I'm pretty sure she would leave me
