My wife been looking at 65-66 Barracudas for years now, dreaming of one for herself.
But she has demands, it's gotta be very nice, red with red interior, and key ready....
So I got her this today!  :D
...with a promise it's gonna be a very nice car, soon.  :soshelp:

Challenger in NC

Now you've stepped in it.... :haha:

I know!  :haha:

My plan is to teach my wife some basic skills, and have her do the cleaning, sanding and what ever she can handle. She want to learn.
Only parts that is missing is the windshield and rear brake drums.
All rust is fixes and it painted and done under, engine (273), transmisssion (904) and read end (7 1/4")  is redone by a good shop. All suspension and steering parts are new,
(not the T-bars and rear springs), all chrome is good. Interior needs to be redone. Engine has a 4 barrel intake and a new Holley. 4 new slotmags + original wheels.
I paid 4k for it, thought it was a very good deal.

One big problem, gonna go pick it up in 2 weeks and I have nowhere to put it... gotta fix that somehow.

Hard to believe you can find these projects in Sweden! Good luck with this one and your wife sounds awesome...

Cool!   :bigthumb:

Good  luck.

Be very careful with that rear glass.

It's a sickness. Sounds like most of the parts are there and usable.

It was at last years SEMA.

These early Barracuda's were very strong in  track and circle racing back then.

Well... I see some red there....... Not so sure about the "key ready"?
:haha:

Unless I'm counting wrong.... Four cars?..... A challenger vert, 73 challenger? , a 70-74 barracuda, and now this barracuda..... You gonna be a busy boy.

I'm just a sucker for projects, I just saw another banged up Cuda 70 for sale here, great price, very tempted,  but it was gone in an hour....
But my 70 Barracuda is my daily driver now! It's very rough though. Love it. :)

Audrey (my wife) likes this color, does anybody know if this is an original color?
