This is what I got when Googling it.

http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcodedisplay.cgi?year=1966&manuf=Chrysler&model=Barracuda

Color reminded me of my Mustang.

is the Barracuda a '65 or '66?

for the '65 Barracuda, there was RUBY (paint code "P") a "bright red" & MEDIUM RED METALLIC (paint code "T")
both colors were modified & renamed for 1966
for the '66 Barracuda, there was BRIGHT RED (paint code "P") & DARK RED METALLIC (paint code "Q")

:alan2cents: IMO both of the metallic reds "CLASH" with the factory RED interiors offered

& they got the labels wrong for '65 - under the colors "RUBY" is the bright red

the "bright red" was the same 1964-'65
the metallic red was again different in '64

  although this ad copy for CANADA looks like it was modified (colors renamed for north of the border) & reused in the US version

It's a 65.
Yes, your'e right, the red interior looks weird with that dark metallic red...
There is parts of the dash that has the same color of the car also.

Nice Mustang YellowThumper! I like Mustangs, had 4 over the years.

Thank you. Have had Mustang for over 37 years now. Was the wife's daily in high school.

Agree with above noted the clashing of colors.
My suggestion is to purchase the interior prior to paint. Then match car color to what looks good together.
Red is one of those colors that has to be nailed between interior and exterior.
My mantra is if colors cannot be perfect match. Then they need to be different. With them "just close" it stands out like a sore thumb.

Good score! Happy wife, happy life, eh? There's a 64-65 Barracuda that has a red paint, white interior, V8 and 4 spd that I see now and again in Grand Bend and it's a sharp looking car. The double red should also stand out in a crowd with that lipstick red interior! Look at the bright side, you're not pissing your money away in the bar. LOL

I visited a shop and saw this. Unfortunately it's the wrong year(s). FWIW, that's in CAD$ and he does ship overseas.

Nice car John, bit IMHO about 10 grand too expensive.

Picked up the Barracuda yesterday, drove 9hrs to get there, way up north.
Car was in better shape than I thought from all pictures I got, and I got tons of parts, many doubles.
And an original Plymouth 1965 service manual with it.
Been apart since the early 80's, last time on the road was 1979!

Here we go! Good luck with the thrash! :bigthumb:

All glass except the windshield. 2 sets of quarter windows. Windshield is easy here, tons of Valiants in Sweden, same windshield.
