My Parents  took me to the Winchester Drive Inn back in the Summer of 1971.

I was 11 years old. Now keep in mind, the best movies of course, were R rated.
They hid me in the trunk on the way into the Drive Inn.

First up: The Omega Man starring Charlton Heston.  Great Movie. Still a great Flick.

The Big Feature: Vanishing Point.
It actually had 2 endings. One with the big crash and one he gets by. You decided.

Folks used to take me and my sis to the Union City drive in... saw a lot of movies when we were supposed to be asleep in the back seat. I remember seeing Jaws... still don't like to go into the dark water off the coast and the wife and I dive... scarred for life... lol.

Yep I saw the advertisement and ended up watching it.
Doesn't end well for the Challenger.
Bit of a Charles Bronson Death wish and Mr and Mrs smith vibe.
Never go after a man's family...
Life is to be viewed thru the windshield. Not rear view mirror.
You are the only one in charge of your destiny.

Cool Cuda in this Swedish bands music video.

Here's a picture from the chase scene in the original Gone in 60 Seconds. Looks like this one was a 71 Barracuda Grand Coupe with a front rubber bumper. Pretty rare combo.

Not movies, but a couple of music videos that heavily feature e-bodies.

First up is an 80's metal video by a Danish band named Pretty Maids for a song titled "Future World" The star of the video is a Cuda, it has a Vanishing Point feel to it.

There's also the Vanishing Point inspired video that Audioslave did for "Show Me How To Live"

Apparently the Cuda in the Future World video has been in a few other Music videos.. It starts it's appearance in Aaron Tippins Kiss This Video shortly after the 2:30 mark...

Brooks & Dunn My Heart is Lost to You features it as well

It was for sale ~5 years ago

Watched a documentary a few weeks ago about the Night Stalker Richard Ramirez. One of his victims had a Barracuda / Cuda in their driveway.

Watching episode 2 of the Billion Dollar Code on Netflix and as they are walking in to the Silicon Graphincs HQ there is a Challenger in the middle of the building. :)

Bad Bird

How about an old Aussie Film (Running on Empty), where the bad guy drives a 1970 Challenger R/T called Fox-1?
