Progress this weekend. New bumpers look nice.
Test fitting with the old receiver/dryer, had to replace the condenser too... the old one had a hole in it.
Radiator painted and installed. Would rather have a factory rad but paint was easier on the budget.

Distributor, Plug wires, Alt, PS, AC Compressor, Hoses, Wiring...
Cleaned and Re-wrapped my front harness. Found a M&H 70 E-Body engine harness I ended up not using on the Cuda and installed it. Have a restored wiper motor ready (wrong year but don't care, better than what was there and the price was right)... Some more trans line work, driveline, Carb is just sitting for test fit. Need to add a couple nwe studs and new gasket. Not sure I have the kickdown linkage correct... will have to go back through my pictures...
Getting close though.

Still need to refinish the Front Grill with Argent.
PO tinted it Blue! ugh... inside the egg crate too!  :Thud:

Have some Argent left over from the Cuda. Hope it is enough. And who put the Challenger script on?

Great job!  Amazing difference when you compare the before/after!

Personally I would have painted the master cylinder and lid black to match the booster, then the fact it's the incorrect one won't jump out at you.  :alan2cents:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Cudaragtop.......your engine bay looks great! I especially like the quilted protection padding surrounding the engine bay. Where did you get this and how much? I could really use something like this.  Thanks,   Al

Had the same thought when I asked my painter to paint them. They painted the booster but they didn't paint the MC and lid... said they worried the paint would not hold up. I'll do it myself. I found a black painted lid and will paint the master myself. PO put Wilwood kit on. Looks like a Cheby MC to me... oh well lots of stuff not correct going to stay not correct.

Thanks Al,
The fender cover is from Bob's Original Fender Covers. Bought it for the Cuda and have used it on all 3 of my Mopars. It takes some of the nervousness out of wrenching. I love it. I'm still very careful but it adds just a little more peace of mind. I bought the premium model. $185 with free shipping. Sales tax if in CA.
Standard model is $45 less.

Thanks nsmall! I am looking forward to driving it a lot, having my fingers and hands heal up and no longer having permanently black finger nail beds and cuticles... they're getting better already since the grimey work is done.

Corbin clamps kicked my ass but I WON!
And I was using this Clamp tool... Maybe not the best but got it done. Still managed to snap my fingers pretty good a couple times.

1 Wild R/T

I've used that tool for 30+ years, but I cut the lock lever off it the first time I used it.....
