I finish building my little frame roller stands. Now I can roll her in and out of the garage.

I finished the corner roof patch. It took 3 pieces of metal to make it but it came out good.

Another update on the cuda. I'm fixing the sunroof patch it's going to take some time to get it right but the labor is free.

Very impressed with your fabrication and welding skills.  Hats off to you.  :clapping: :worship: It's going to be really nice when you're done.  :bigthumb:

I admire/applaud your efforts on the roof but I have to wonder if at that point going to a new AMD roof would be a better option? I'd be worried after all your efforts you have a " oil canning" issue down the road when it's much harder/expensive to make right?  Big flat panels such as roof's , hood, and trunks I would not attempt to weld in patches. But I'm no expert in body work either.  :D

Thanks. There is truth to what youre saying and since this is somewhat of a budget build
I found better use for the 500 plus dollars needed for a new roof. Trick the I did was I used thicker metal in the metal for support and I was even thinking putting a brace on under side of the roof to keep it ridgett.

Picked up my 5.7 hemi today it was for 500 so I couldn't pass on it. I'll change all the gasket and clean it up.

Anything from a factory 4spd to a magnum will work. Some assembly required.

With the 4 speed gas mileage wont be that good but the magnum cost an arm and a leg. Do u reccomend running the truck accessory?

I run the car stuff because I feel it looks better aesthetically. Unfortunately everything on the timing cover would have to be swapped, alt, ac, water pump, etc.

If you're doing a metal patch the basic rule is:

Anything over a Nickel thickness of body filler and the panel either needs re work or replaced.   :alan2cents:
