RUNCHARGER

Got most of the Charger trunk floor welded in. Just have to weld the top half of the over axle rails and then across the front. Hopefully get that done and butcher out the dutchman panel tomorrow.

Put my dirty daily drivers behind the house, finally getting some landscaping done and asphalt on my drive way this weekend, after 15 years with gravel.

6th round of sanding the GTM project. should be the last sand I hope as it's ready for colour. It's fibreglass so we sprayed the poly slicksand on first, sanded that and have now laid epoxy over the highbuild to seal it. All was well except the car owner sprayed the epoxy on in 30c so it's been nasty getting it flat again.

Took my 72 Challenger for a ride to Six-Pack Speedshop, our Dutch authorized distributor of TTi Performance Exhaust and Headers. I want to replace the stock 72 exhaust manifolds of my modified 340. Still can't decide which headers are right for my ride: the 1-5/8" Shorty Headers or the 1-5/8 x 1-3/4" Full-Length Step Headers... Perhaps I was a little distracted by the mighty Mopars parked in front of the shop...  :drooling:

Wow, what a great day. The weather was beautiful and I covered three of my four favorite things. I took the 12 out for long run, I love that car! Along the way I saw beans being harvested and wheat being planted along with a small splattering of late hay crop coming off. Hey, I'm retired but I'm still a farmer! My route just happened to take me by two craft breweries that needed my business in these unusual times. I hope everyone had a great day too.

Sounds like a great day. It has been a while since I had a nice leisurely day like that. Not to mention we've been smoked out from fires for a while now. better than the source though.

I continued the disassembly of the Challenger.  :wrenching:  She is just about ready to head off to the resto shop. Hopefully this week I can get her out of my garage. Wife is tired of my capitalizing the garage and the mess that comes with it. :)

Took my 73 out to the hills, 80 miles round trip, not much traffic. Saw couple of super cars but no Mopar. Also watching 24 hours LeMans on and off. Relaxing day.

Ditched the chrome box and canister coil, dropped a new HEI Dizzy in and spent the day getting the timing tweaked in.

Don't hate... dang thing is running better than it has since I've owned it.

Probably drove 150 miles looping up and across the Peninsula.

Installed the charging bulkhead bypass wire I bought from Rob finally.

Cooling off and tedious cleaning and getting closer.

RUNCHARGER

Still plowing into the Charger. Not enough time on it and a bit of parts fabbing (window corners take a long time on these things). Back on it today, not sure if I'll cut a quarter off but if I don't get that far I'll be ready to on the weekend. Time to grind a few welds and fab the inner fender patches. I'm tempted to weld in the rear valance and quarter ends but I'll cleco them for quarter fitting.
