That's a tough repair area to fix.  Go slow and take your time and you should be good.  Keep compressed air next to you when you weld and blow the spot weld off right away to cool.  Looks like you are doing a nice job on it.

If you are keeping that windshield you will want to cover it. the sparks from welding and grinding will pit it. welding blanket or even tape cardboard to it. it's pricey but 3M has A covering on A roll that sticks to the glass. same go's for any glass ware sparks are flying.   

Thanks for the info but the glass has some bad spot in the glass already and plus I cracked it at the edge also.

Haven't done much to the cuda except take out the front windshield since the tool came and been kind of sick. I broke the glass up even more  .

Been busy and haven't really did much to the cuda except find more rust in the roof and A pillars. I have order the last bit of sheet metal that I need since places are giving out discount  codes. I'm probably going to have fab some metal to fix the roof where the window seats.

Sorry about the additional rust you discovered.  That sucks.  I also bought that windshield removing tool and while it worked, it was a PIA and took forever.  After reading about using the multi-tool to removed the windshield on your thread, I borrowed my sons to removed the back window and I have to say what a difference.  Much, much easier as well as considerably quicker.  Good luck with the rust repairs.

Hey guy no real updates on the cuda due to it being too cold. Plus I had to change the tranny on my mustang second gear went in the T5. Currently installing a new now. My friend got just got 2 Buick skylark a 69 and 70 that he wants me to help with . I will be getting back on the cuda since spring is here

Well I finally cam get back on working the cuda. I just about finish putting in a new t5 in the mustang. I'm currently doing the floor pan patch.

Today I was working on my floor pan patch and it's coming along well. Hopefully by this weekend I'll be done with most of panel patches.
