What clutch and flywheel did you get?
I still have not bought those parts for my 73 project with a 5.7 / 833a.

Adjust it before installing in car. You will have to pull it off before installing the trans into the car though.

Out... but put the trans crossmember on the trans first, assuming you are putting the engine/trans in from the bottom..

With shifter installed. There is a hole thru all the arms. When in neutral they all line up. Put a pin in to keep them located. Pin, bolt, allen wrench can work also. Ensure all trans levers are in neutral. Then adjust till post from bars drop in freely to hole on bracket. Prior to disassembly, you can mark the positions. Marker, wrap with tape, etc... I have used zip ties fore and shaft also. Basically whatever you have on hand.

If no one helps today a can give you pics of my setup. Same rods as yours. Will be about 12 hours though.

The long large loop one is I believe reverse. Loop is towards rear and loops under trans mount crossmember. Perfect placement (sarcasm)  for speed bump contact. Roll over a speed bump at normal speed and that is where car squats when coming down. It will become a familiar sound...

Thanks. I think i might have to wrong crossmember because the reverse rod wont bolt up to the shifter. Another question is it only a clip that hold the shitfer rod in??
