Today I finished up the patch panel for the firewall where thewioer motor sits. It was a PITA but it came out nice. I also welded in the brace for the lower control arms.

Cuda coming sanding almost done on the front end hopefully primer and paint this weekend . Question how do you remove the windshield trim from the window I see there are some clips. I'm guessing there is a special tool for it.

You can buy or make the tool to get the trim off.  The tool slips under the trim and releases the clip.  The tool looks like this....

Be careful! I cracked mine.
Don't want that happening. I might just leave it in since it's my first time doing it.

You might as well take it out, since you taking the whole car apart, there is always rust under there, I had some small rust holes even though
my car was pretty much rust free. It's not hard, I just screwed up and bended the tool with the glass as support, should not have done that. I used an oscillating mulit-tool with a blade from the inside to get the glass out, super easy, 5 minutes. It cuts the glue like butter. There is all kinds of tips on using pianowire etc, but this tool was the best.

Thanks but I took it off with a flat blade screwdriver seems pretty solid. I did break 1 clip tho

Clips are cheap and easy to replace.  It's the glass that is hard to get out without breaking.

I really wasn't planning on taking out the glass plus i have never taken out a windshield before.Couldn't u just heat up the sealant around the glass and cut out the glass?

I think they take a thin wire and run it between the glass and frame to "cut" the sealant.  It's kinda tricky.  There's almost always rust in the lower window channels of E-Bodies.
